Operation Haystack: The Search is On was a thrilling live escape room experience following a fully-fledged espionage narrative. This included a series of actor-led film content played out on a floor-to-ceiling LED wall, hands-on interactive tech, a range of props, and a heap of clues. Here is a flavour of the journey that we took everyone on!
I creatively led the team and worked to conceptualise the immersive scenario. Subsequently liasing with the client about their needs and the integration of supplier and partner content. I helped the design team create various elements of the stand from print, motion and film.
The client loved the overall work that was put in from myself and the team, helping play a huge part in securing the following year's creative brief set out from the JSARC team which consequently utilised one of our concepts from the year before that they loved.
The Glasgows / OneTwo creative team developed, conceptualised, and scripted the narrative, produced and shot all video content. Designed and built the experience space comprising a booking-in area, a briefing room, and two identical escape rooms, as well as hosting the experience, with the Glasgows / OneTwo outstanding production team behind the scenes taking care of all the AV and special effects.
Prolific North - Creative Award Winner
“Operation Haystack: The Search is On” won The Prolific North Creative Award for Immersive and Experiential Content! The awards were judged over a rigorous, independent, two-stage process by a panel of 22 industry leaders and experts from the BBC, ITV, Google, and leading creative agencies. I was extremely proud of the team and what we achieved against some very stiff competition in the category!
