My wife is a keen runner and athlete and has friends who were looking to film the St Helens Triathlon in 2017, then ultimately use this to promote subscription for the 2018 contest. I offered to help create some motion graphics and aid with the edit and art/creative direction of the final piece.

In addition to the video there had to be recognition of the sponsors and organisers of the event to help fund the following contest. Therefore, their brand was then added as part of the publicity.
The Result
The overall subscription to the 2018 Trialthlon increased by 35% on the previous year. This allowed for a greater investment in promotion of the 2019 event which incidentally was sadly the last Triathlon to be staged on the course due to COVID and other mitigating factors.
