Sports Publication & TV Documentary
Working with a team of media professionals to deliver this publication. The concept and idea is based upon interviews with people who watched, wrote or played the game of football from the lonely position of the goalkeeper.
I pitched the idea to the likes of BT Sport Films, Sky Documentaries, Netflix & Amazon Prime regarding a documentary similar to that already exist but don't cover goalkeepers.
The idea came to me through my time at Liverpool FC. Having observed that content we published based around goalkeepers had more interactions and views than that of goals / highlights. That was when the "All you need is Glove" seed was sown.
Sadly, I was unable to get the backing to this project that I had hoped for but what did make apparent was the power of the patent as within 3 years of pitching my idea to BT Sport an almost identical documentary idea made it to their channels. I fully believe that this was sadly no coincidence, but as they say that's life I guess
